We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Security Advisor Consultant to join our growing team at NORRIQ Financial Services. As a Business Security Advisor Consultant, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the information assets of our clients, which include some of the largest banks in Belgium. You will collaborate with our clients to assess, mitigate, and manage cybersecurity risks, ensuring that their systems and data are protected from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other threats.  

Your responsabilities will include: 

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize cybersecurity threats to clients' critical information assets. 
  • Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate identified risks, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. 
  • Manage and monitor security controls to ensure they are effective and up-to-date. 
  • Educate and train clients' staff on cybersecurity best practices and incident response procedures. 
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents to minimize their impact and prevent future occurrences. 
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies to provide clients with comprehensive and effective security solutions. 

Our Business Security Advisors have: 

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related field. 
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. 
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, developing security strategies, and implementing security controls. 
  • Strong understanding of incident response procedures and experience handling security breaches. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to clients and stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch or French, with at least a passive knowledge of the other language.
